class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc51 The Chosen Ones<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\ude4c Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My dear friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This blog is the result of a desire to share with you some of the things that the Lord speaks to me through His Word each day, so that they may also be a blessing to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcd6 Recently, I shared a message titled <strong>&#8220;The Chosen Ones&#8221;<\/strong> at a youth meeting, and I thought it would be worthwhile to share it with you as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Matthew 22:14, Jesus says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;For many are called, but few are chosen.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 Matthew 22:14<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I read this verse, a question arose within me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2753 Who are these &#8220;chosen&#8221; people that the Lord speaks about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2753 What kind of characteristics do they possess?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At that moment, the Holy Spirit reminded me of 1 Thessalonians 1:2\u20134:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ&#8230; knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude4c Hallelujah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u23f3 Patience of Hope<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most essential qualities of today&#8217;s chosen young people is <strong>patience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc51 The Lord anointed David as king in 1 Samuel 16:12, but he was not actually established as king until 2 Samuel 5:3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcc5 Many years may have passed between these two events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During that time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude22 David faced hardships and struggles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u26b0\ufe0f Samuel, who had anointed him, died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2694\ufe0f Saul continually sought to kill him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udee1\ufe0f There were battles with the Philistines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only after many days filled with tears, trials, and waiting did David finally become king.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps your situation feels similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may have accepted the Lord believing that He would lift you up and bless your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet today you may find yourself struggling against the world and sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2753 You may wonder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Will God&#8217;s blessings ever come into my life?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2764\ufe0f Remember this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord is preparing and refining you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf31 At the right time, He will exalt you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps the Lord is preparing you for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc8d The life partner He has chosen for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet because of impatience, you may be trying to create a relationship on your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude4f If that is the case, surrender it to the Lord and pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2728 He is able to change any situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2764\ufe0f Labor of Love<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bible says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Let no man seek his own, but every man another&#8217;s wealth.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 1 Corinthians 10:24<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As believers, we should do our best to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude4f Pray for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83e\udd1d Encourage others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcac Counsel others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf81 Help meet their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf0d Setting aside time to pray and intercede for our nation is also an expression of laboring in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udee1\ufe0f Guarding ourselves from becoming slaves to sin and the world is another way we demonstrate our love for the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83e\udd32 Ask Him for help, and He will surely help you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 Work of Faith<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we say that we trust in the Lord, that faith should be evident in our actions and testimony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc40 Others are watching our lives more closely than we realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I know a young man who turned away from the path of truth because he observed the inconsistent and ungodly lifestyle of certain believers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude14 No matter how much we tried to reason with him, he could not be convinced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u26a0\ufe0f It was a trap that Satan had prepared for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let us not become stumbling blocks to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2728 Let us protect our testimony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u271d\ufe0f Let us live lives that honor Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude47 Let us continually depend upon the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There have been times when I too have made mistakes and later regretted them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcac There have also been occasions when I had to ask forgiveness from those whom I had wronged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcd6 The Lord exalts those who humble themselves and return to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc51 Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let us strive to cultivate these qualities in our lives and live as people chosen by God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u23f3 Patience of Hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2764\ufe0f Labor of Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2728 Work of Faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May the Lord grant us the grace not only to be among those who are called,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">but also to be among those who are pleasing to Him\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc51 <strong>The Chosen Ones.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude4f Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9
