👑 Seek First His Kingdom

💭 When My Heart Was Struggling

A few days ago, I found myself in a quiet battle within.

For a long time, I had been praying for a particular blessing. Yet, there seemed to be no sign of an answer. At the same time, I watched others receive similar blessings so easily—some without even appearing to pray for them.

😔 Slowly, disappointment entered my heart.

😞 Frustration followed.

And, if I am honest, I even felt a certain irritation toward the Lord.

I found myself asking:

“Lord, why is it only me?”

As these thoughts filled my mind, one verse began to echo in my heart:

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

— Matthew 6:33

And suddenly, I realized something that humbled me.

Although I was seeking God, I was actually seeking my needs, my desires, and my own kingdom.

But what God wanted me to seek was not merely His blessings—

👑 He wanted me to seek His Kingdom through Him.

✨ The Primary Focus — God’s Kingdom

Everything we do should be viewed through one question:

“Is God’s rule being established here?”

💬 When we speak with people…

We should ask:

“Does this person know the Lord?”

If not, perhaps God brought them into our lives so that we may pray for them and share the Gospel with them.

🌍 When we travel to a city or nation…

Our prayer should not merely be for safety and success.

Instead, we should pray:

“Lord, let Your Kingdom come in this place.”

💼 At our workplace…

Our goal is not merely promotions and salaries.

We should desire that God’s will be done there.

✨ May our character, integrity, and testimony reveal Christ to others.

💭 In our thoughts and desires…

Our hearts should continually be directed toward His Kingdom.

Because a life centered on God’s Kingdom produces eternal fruit.

🏢 Even when starting a business…

It should not exist merely:

💰 For wealth.

🏆 For reputation.

🛡️ For personal security.

But ultimately,

“Lord, may this become something useful for Your Kingdom.”

🌿 The Secondary Focus — God Will Take Care of It

There are many things we naturally worry about:

💼 Our jobs.

🏠 Where we live.

👨‍👩‍👧 Our family.

💍 Marriage and relationships.

📅 Our future.

These things are important.

But they are secondary.

Jesus Himself takes responsibility for these things.

🤲 And He arranges them according to His greater purpose.

Not merely according to our comfort—

But according to what will help us fulfill His calling.

💭 Looking Back at My Own Life

There have been many times when I thought:

“If only I had gotten that job…”

“If only I had lived in that place…”

“If only that relationship had worked out…”

But the Lord gently reminded me:

“Had I given you those things, perhaps you would have lost sight of your true purpose.”

🚪 How many times have we called something a disappointment,

when in reality,

it was God’s protection?

🔒 How many closed doors were actually acts of mercy?

🛡️ How many unanswered prayers saved us from distractions that would have pulled us away from Him?

🌱 Everything We Receive Has a Purpose

Whether God gives us:

👔 A high position,

💼 An ordinary job,

👨‍👩‍👧 A loving family,

💰 Material blessings,

None of these are ends in themselves.

🎁 They are tools.

🌾 They are opportunities.

🤲 They are gifts entrusted to us so that His Kingdom may grow.

Because life is not ultimately about building our own kingdoms.

👑 It is about participating in His.

❤️ Where Your Treasure Is, There Your Worries Will Be

Whatever occupies first place in our hearts will also occupy our thoughts.

💰 If our treasure is earthly things, our worries will revolve around earthly things.

👑 But if God’s Kingdom becomes our treasure,

our concerns will become His concerns.

And to such people, Jesus gives this beautiful promise:

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”

— Luke 12:32

🐑 What a beautiful promise for God’s people.

✨ Final Thoughts

Perhaps you are waiting for an answer.

⏳ Perhaps you feel forgotten.

🏃 Perhaps others seem to be moving ahead while you remain in the same place.

But remember:

🌅 God’s delays are not God’s absence.

⏰ His “not yet” does not mean “never.”

👑 Seek first His Kingdom.

🎯 Make His purposes your priority.

🤲 And trust Him with everything else.

Because the One who calls you to seek His Kingdom

is also the One who faithfully orders every detail of your life.

❤️ Seek His Kingdom.

And He will take care of the rest.

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for reminding me that Your Kingdom must come before my own desires.

Forgive me for the times I have focused more on my plans than on Your purposes.

👑 Help me to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness.

🤲 Teach me to trust You with the blessings I am still waiting for.

⏳ Give me patience when answers seem delayed.

🛡️ Help me to recognize Your protection even in closed doors and unanswered prayers.

❤️ May my life, my work, my relationships, and my future all serve Your Kingdom.
