👑 The Chosen Ones

🙌 Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ!

My dear friends,

This blog is the result of a desire to share with you some of the things that the Lord speaks to me through His Word each day, so that they may also be a blessing to you.

📖 Recently, I shared a message titled “The Chosen Ones” at a youth meeting, and I thought it would be worthwhile to share it with you as well.

In Matthew 22:14, Jesus says:

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”

— Matthew 22:14

As I read this verse, a question arose within me:

❓ Who are these “chosen” people that the Lord speaks about?

❓ What kind of characteristics do they possess?

At that moment, the Holy Spirit reminded me of 1 Thessalonians 1:2–4:

“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ… knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.”

🙌 Hallelujah!

⏳ Patience of Hope

One of the most essential qualities of today’s chosen young people is patience.

👑 The Lord anointed David as king in 1 Samuel 16:12, but he was not actually established as king until 2 Samuel 5:3.

📅 Many years may have passed between these two events.

During that time:

😢 David faced hardships and struggles.

⚰️ Samuel, who had anointed him, died.

⚔️ Saul continually sought to kill him.

🛡️ There were battles with the Philistines.

Only after many days filled with tears, trials, and waiting did David finally become king.

Perhaps your situation feels similar.

You may have accepted the Lord believing that He would lift you up and bless your life.

Yet today you may find yourself struggling against the world and sin.

❓ You may wonder:

“Will God’s blessings ever come into my life?”

❤️ Remember this:

The Lord is preparing and refining you.

🌱 At the right time, He will exalt you.

Perhaps the Lord is preparing you for:

💍 The life partner He has chosen for you.

Yet because of impatience, you may be trying to create a relationship on your own.

🙏 If that is the case, surrender it to the Lord and pray.

✨ He is able to change any situation.

❤️ Labor of Love

The Bible says:

“Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.”

— 1 Corinthians 10:24

As believers, we should do our best to:

🙏 Pray for others.

🤝 Encourage others.

💬 Counsel others.

🎁 Help meet their needs.

Even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone’s life.

🌍 Setting aside time to pray and intercede for our nation is also an expression of laboring in love.

🛡️ Guarding ourselves from becoming slaves to sin and the world is another way we demonstrate our love for the Lord.

🤲 Ask Him for help, and He will surely help you.

✨ Work of Faith

If we say that we trust in the Lord, that faith should be evident in our actions and testimony.

👀 Others are watching our lives more closely than we realize.

I know a young man who turned away from the path of truth because he observed the inconsistent and ungodly lifestyle of certain believers.

😔 No matter how much we tried to reason with him, he could not be convinced.

⚠️ It was a trap that Satan had prepared for him.

Let us not become stumbling blocks to others.

Instead:

✨ Let us protect our testimony.

✝️ Let us live lives that honor Christ.

🙇 Let us continually depend upon the Lord.

There have been times when I too have made mistakes and later regretted them.

💬 There have also been occasions when I had to ask forgiveness from those whom I had wronged.

📖 The Lord exalts those who humble themselves and return to Him.

👑 Conclusion

Let us strive to cultivate these qualities in our lives and live as people chosen by God.

⏳ Patience of Hope.

❤️ Labor of Love.

✨ Work of Faith.

May the Lord grant us the grace not only to be among those who are called,

but also to be among those who are pleasing to Him—

👑 The Chosen Ones.

🙏 Amen.
